This years campout was marred by torrential rains, but we didn’t let that damper our fun. We did what all good builders do… We made a dry fortress out of huge tarps.
The theme of this years campout was “Hotter than hell”. While the weather was anything but the food was good and hot! What better way to cook food than on a fire made with some jet fuel!
The rain on the second day decided to give us a break so we hiked 6 rugged miles through the Red River Gorge.
Here is a picture of some of the brothers standing at a cliff. Pictured from left to right are James Wells, Ted Taylor, John Gellenborg, and Gary Long.
Another picture of brothers from left to right James Wells, John Gellenborg, Ted Taylor, and Jim Fletcher. John lost his Harley Hat somewhere in the woods, but thats a different story.
Everyone had a good time and we hope next years “Don’t drink the water” campout will have 2 or 3 times the brothers attending!
